By the historic Baugsstaðir Creamery (Rjómabúið á Baugsstöðum), we’ve set up a cozy little spot where you can reach over the fence, give the horses a gentle pat, and treat them to something special! 

Inside the cabinet on-site, you’ll find jars filled with horse treats. But these aren’t just any ordinary snacks – these are Nuggets of knowledge, bringing something sweet for the horses and something smart for you:

• A treat for the horse: The jars are packed with high-quality treats that horses absolutely love (and that are completely safe for their tummies!).

• A fun fact for you: Inside each jar, you’ll find a hidden QR code. Scan it with your phone to unlock a fun and exciting fact about the unique Icelandic horse.
   

There are many different Nuggets if knowledge to discover, so who knows which one you’ll pick today!

Let’s protect the environment: We love recycling! You buy the treats and get the fun facts, but we kindly ask you to return the empty jars to the cabinet once the horses are done snacking, so we can reuse them again and again.

• Horses have very sensitive digestive systems and must never be fed human food – please stick strictly to the Knowledge Nibbles.

• Please be careful. All interactions with the horses are at your own risk.
